Inspired by Judith Lasater “an active relaxation." The comfort and needs of each student are met with the use of props to support the body in relaxation. Restorative yoga comprises of reclined postures held for 5 minutes or more using props to facilitate mindfulness, and soothes the nervous system. This time of rest is designed for all levels and although it is not a physically demanding practice, the challenge lies in quieting the mind.
